Tomorrow morning, Sept. 8, Colgate will move from Gate 0 (universal quarantine) to Gate 1.

With the first week of universal quarantine drawing to a close, I wanted to update you on the news from campus.

This weekend, Colgate University and the Village of Hamilton will welcome students back for a new academic year. This annual tradition takes place at an extraordinary moment, and I write with what I expect to be the first of many community updates during the fall 2020 semester.

The Task Force on Reopening has developed a series of phases or Gates, to establish the ways in which Colgate will seek to maintain health and safety as we progress through this semester.
