Multiple reports of large gatherings over the past few days are cause for concern, as unsanctioned gatherings and lax adherence to guidelines regarding face coverings and physical distancing can lead to serious public-health consequences for our community.

I write to share with you as much information as possible about accounts of sexual assault or misconduct that have been circulating over the past few days.

On Friday, Feb. 5, Colgate moved to Gate 1, which allows more freedom of movement for students and the resumption of in-person instruction.
