Colgate University has rescheduled the reception for members of the community to meet the architects David Adjaye, Joseph Franchina, and Marc McQuade of Adjaye Associates for Wednesday, Aug. 15 at 5 p.m. at the Barge Canal Coffee Co., 37 Lebanon Street.

Dewey Mosby, director emeritus of Colgate’s Picker Art Gallery, died yesterday, August 1, of pulmonary issues at Bassett Hospital in Cooperstown, N.Y., at the age of 70.

Slater Brothers Entertainment will bring Hollywood to the village of Hamilton for the fourth annual Hamilton International Film Festival Aug. 2-5. Grant Slater ’91 and his brothers Wade and Todd, whose father, Terry Slater, was the head hockey coach at Colgate for 15 years, started the festival four years ago.
