Rising Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors Housing selection for each academic year occurs during the spring term. The Residential Life team shares important dates with students and hosts information sessions to introduce housing options for each class year. Housing Options First-Years & Transfers All first-year students are placed within one of the four Commons and assigned a residence hall on upper campus. First-Years & Transfers Sophomores Most rising sophomores stay within their Commons, but do have the opportunity to apply for other residential learning opportunities. Sophomore Housing Juniors & Seniors Juniors and seniors may move out of their Residential Commons and make housing choices in line with their own personal interests.
